Pete Bridgwood lives in the UK and started making photographs about 30 years ago using wet-process in a traditional darkroom. In recent years Pete has started to use digital equipment and now uses an exclusively digital workflow using a high resolution camera. Many examples of Pete's work have been published in national photography magazines and in the Sunday Times, he has had images exhibited in national exhibitions at the Camera Club in London and at the National Theatre on London's Southbank. Pete also writes articles for national photography magazines. In 2008 Pete was announced as the overall winner of Amateur Photographer Magazine's 'Amateur Photographer of the Year' competition - a monthly competition held throughout 2007 in which entrants accumulated points over 10 rounds spread over the year. Pete managed to beat thousands of other entrants and after winning two first prizes, one second prize and one third prize in the monthly rounds he won the overall prize worth £5000.
Pete held his first solo exhibition in July and August 2008 at the
beautiful Southwell Minster in Southwell, Nottinghamshire.
'LANDSCAPE' featured 41 examples of Pete's work from the past three
