Henningsvaer

‘Frozen Sea’, Henningsvaer, Lofoten, Norway

During a ten-day shoot in Lofoten, we witnessed some dramatic weather, incessant rain, hail and snow with gale-force winds. Conditions were ‘sporting’ but nevertheless enjoyable; how could they not be, some would say this is the most beautiful place on the planet to make landscape photographs. Henningsvaer looked captivating and the half frozen sea provided a subliminal visual introduction to this wild and exquisite place.
